Blue Light Youth Camp
Camp was really fun. It was a good experience to learn about road rules and learn to ride. The camp was pretty big and had lots of activities. At Maldon we climbed up Mt Tarrangower. It was cold and a bit muddy. We went to the BMX track which was fantastic. We made damper and had a hut building competition. The units were clean and in good condition. We went to the lolly shop and got five dollars to spend. The bikes were good. Camp was awesome. Keyzy 4DB

Bike Ed Camp Maldon
The Grade 4s at Leopold Primary School have just returned from bike camp in Maldon. 93 of us spent 3 days riding around Maldon on bikes with a Police escort. We left Geelong around 9.30am and stopped in Hepburn Springs to test the mineral water and have our morning snack. Back on the bus and on our way to camp. When we got there we unpacked the bus and put our things in our cabins and then we were given a bike that was the correct size for us with a number on it and that was ours for the next 3 days. Our first ride was down to the BMX for a good ride then back via the railway station where we watched a steam train come in from Castlemaine then it was back to camp for some mini golf and more riding and some free time and one group had to do duty and get things ready for our dinner. We all enjoyed the spaghetti bolognaise and chocolate mousse for dinner. After dinner we went for a long walk up the mountain with Michael the camp manager and all the teachers, We took our torches and we saw some kangaroos then it was back to camp to go to bed. Day one over.

Bike Ed
On Wednesday you will need to bring your helmet, sleeping bag and pillow and your lunch in a back pack. You You must bring old warm clothes and a raincoat.
A torch would be a good idea. We will have lots of fun.

Ready for camp?
Hi everyone. We are now online! We are looking forward to next Wednesday when we head off to Maldon for our Bike Ed camp.
